The sequel to the coffee-sipping visual novel, Coffee Talk Episode 2, is out now! It’s available to play on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox devices.

Check out the launch trailer for Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly.

Are you ready to dust off your coffee machine, get your warmest smile prepared, and start serving customers again?

The original Coffee Talk visual novel/interactive fiction adventure took the world on by storm. It was inspired by VA-11 Hall-A, and you would serve people coffee, and listen to their problems.

Similarly to the first game, it takes place in a magical fantasy world where other races like elves and fairies exist. The dialogue is accompanied by 90s-themed anime pixel art, and lo-fi chillhop music.

Whilst we haven’t played through Coffee Talk Episode 2 just yet, the first game was absolutely phenomenal. We genuinely think it’s one of the best titles in the visual novel/interactive fiction genre.

If you’re interested in Episode 2, you can learn more over on the Steam Page. It’s also got a free demo you can download and try out.

Coffee Talk 2 is also available via the Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC. So, if you’re subscribed, you can play through it all as part of the sub!

If you love more laid-back interactive fiction games, we also recommend checking out New Witch In Town by Grace Card.
