Insert Rich Family Name places you in the role of a billionaire, and allows you to decide your own fate in a choose-your-own-adventure style.
Here are some gameplay details from the Steam listing:
- Character creation, ability to play as a man, woman, or non-binary; gay, straight, bi, or ace.
- Play family politics—choose to stand behind your family and show unwavering support, or engage in sibling rivalry and betray anyone in your way.
- Spend your money on frivolous things, or plan for the future and your wealth.
- Choose to pursue forbidden romances, from the detective that’s one step ahead, or your bodyguard. Keep your enemies close but forbidden loves even closer!
The author promises a “thrilling ride” where you’ll be “clutching at your pearls and flaunting your diamonds.” If you’re interested, the novel is available now on PC/Steam at 20% off until the 11th of May.

“As a published author, I’ve had the privilege of working with some great publishers such as Hosted Games. However, self-publishing my newest game was a whole different challenge.
It took me a year to create this game, and I had to navigate the complexities of setting up developer accounts on Steam and Apple Store, which was quite intimidating.
I’m grateful for the support and guidance of my fellow authors who have been through this process before, and I’m proud to say that I’ve successfully self-published my first game. I poured my heart and soul into this game, and I hope that players will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.”

Previously, C.C. Hill has worked with interactive fiction giants such as Choice Of Games & Hosted Games, with Midnight Saga: The Monster.

This novel seems to be a departure from her previous work. Not only is this mystery novel is self-published, but it’s also made in Twine instead of using ChoiceScript.
