The young adult, urban fantasy interactive fiction novel is releasing later this year! New Witch In Town will have you on a magical adventure this Winter.

This is a 500,000-word interactive fantasy novel by the amazing writer Grace Card. It is being developed and published with Choice of Games.

“When you’re forced to leave your endangered forest home, your grandma only gives you one instruction: “Keep your magic secret.” But when you reach your new town, you realize you might have a chance to save your forest after all.”

Like Choice Of Game’s other titles, such as our recently-reviewed Zombie Exodus—there are no graphics or sounds. Just plain text with no distractions!

The game’s user-interface looks clean, and is easy to read. As for the novel itself, it looks perfect for fans of Harry Potter and other iconic fantasy universes.

In New Witch In Town, you play as, well, a witch. You’ve lived half your life in a remote magical forest, learning magic from your grandma.

However, after news the forest might be in danger—you move to your grandma’s old house. This is where the story begins.

Where is your grandma? What’s up with all the mysterious trees appearing? What about those dreams about the forest?

This interactive novel is packed with mystery, romance, and adorable pets! Along with choosing your character’s gender and sexuality, you even get to pick an animal Familiar!

Play as a male, female, or non-binary character. You’ll also get the choice to choose between gay, straight, pi, pan, or aromantic.

It also offers a diverse range of characters, with the choice to keep to yourself or get to know them! You can learn more about New Witch In Town on the Steam page, and add it to your wishlist!
