Get ready for the Mini Interactive Story Jam! The hosts are inviting anyone to create and share interactive stories using the tool Spinoff.
Interested in joining the Interactive Story Jam? Head over to the contest page on Itch! It’s accepting submissions from the tool Spinoff, which is for iOS.
It’s described as a “super easy-to-use” mobile app, that lets you create interactive stories. The content is also a free theme Jam, so let your imagination go wild!
There’s no strict restriction on the duration of a story submission—however, the hosts say 5 minutes of playtime for one playthrough is ideal, as it’s a shorter Jam.
Along with using Spinoff to create your interactive story, there are a few other rules. Such as no offensive or discriminatory language/content, and it must be in English (however feel free to add translations)!
Submissions for the Mini Interactive Story Jam open on November 25th, 2022, at 4:30AM and end on December 14th, 2022, at 4:30PM.
Keep in mind, the exact date/time might change depending on your location/timezone. There’s a total of $2400 to give away!
- 1st Place receives $500USD.
- 2nd Place receives $400USD.
- 3rd Place receives $300USD.
The People’s Choice award winner gets $200USD, and then $100USD for up to 10 Runners-Up.
