Hunter: The Reckoning — The Beast of Glenkildove was first announced back in 2023, alongside Werewolf: The Apocalypse – The Book of Hungry Names. It is a chilling new chapter in the World of Darkness (WOD) universe.

The Beast of Glenkildove is a new interactive fiction novel made in partnership between Choice of Games and Paradox Interactive. The novel was written by William Brown and is available on Steam, iOS, and Android.

What is Hunter: The Reckoning

Hunter: The Reckoning is one of the horror tabletop role-playing games set in the World of Darkness universe. Other popular WoD RPG games include Vampire: The Masquerade and Wraith: The Oblivion.

What makes Hunter: The Reckoning so unique is that it is one of the few WoD rulesets/settings where you aren’t playing as a ‘monster’. Instead, you’re hunting them.

Beast of Glenkildove is an adaptation of the Hunter: The Reckoning tabletop game and ruleset to an interactive fiction novel. If you’re a huge fan of the setting and IP, you’re sure to love it. It’s kind of like Supernatural and you’re one of the Winchester brothers tracking a werewolf.

The Beast of Glenkildove, a werewolf, has stalked Ireland for centuries, and it’s your quest to hunt it down. You have entered the world of Hunters, humans who dare to challenge the dominion of mythological beasts and monsters threatening society.

“Eight years ago, when you were eighteen, the Beast of Glenkildove killed one of your closest friends. You’ve never returned to Ireland since that day.

Now, you must stalk that werewolf across the shadowed glens and fogbound mountains of Ireland, hunting a shapeshifting killing machine with your friends, your wits, and a shotgun.”
