The story of Arcane Investigations is set on the Quartzway Express. It’s just after midnight, and all the passengers are woken up by signs of a MAGICAL ROBBERY!
Readers take on the role of Kabili, a newly accredited arcane investigator who by chance happens to be on the train. You tumble out of bed, ready to solve your first-ever mystery.
Along with meeting new investigative co-workers, you’ll be questioning suspects, searching for evidence, and ultimately—defending the accused in a high-stakes trial complete with:
- Cross-examination puzzles
- Surprise reveals
- Finger-pointing moments

Arcane Investigations features classic point-and-click gameplay. In addition, there’s also an in-depth dialogue system for questioning suspects and talking to Kabili’s larger-than-life coworkers.
